Leaf in the rain {Photo}

I am loving all the green color spring rains are encouraging.  My soggy basement is not.

Changing topics… What does Memorial Day mean to you?

This Memorial Weekend, I am thinking of my grandfather – a man I was never able to meet.  While he didn’t lose his life serving in the Armed Forces, he was a police officer killed in the line of duty.  As I look at his photo, there’s no doubt that we’re related.  Noses don’t lie. :)

Thank you to all who have lost lives and all who put their lives at risk in the name of public service.

Wishing you all a sunny weekend!
